Our goal
We want every student to be able to practise and learn here. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site, in both light and dark mode.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, starts with a “Skip to content” link and keeps a visible focus outline.
- Text and controls are checked for colour contrast in light and dark mode, and right and wrong answers are never shown by colour alone.
- Short status messages, such as your score, are announced to screen readers.
- Animations play once or have a pause button, and stay still if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages work from phone width up, and text can be zoomed.
- Bangla pages are marked as Bangla so screen readers use the right voice.
- We test new pages with the axe-core accessibility checker at phone and desktop widths.
Known limits
- Some lessons explain ideas with animations; each one also has a short text summary.
- Maps are visual; each map tool also lists the member countries as text.
- Timed mock tests have a time limit, like the real exams. Practice mode has no time limit.
- Some of the official websites we link to are run by other organizations, and we can't control how accessible they are.
